Estrella Warbirds Museum
This museum was named after the World War II U.S. Army Air Corps P-38 base and it features a wonderful collection of military aircraft, from props to jets, that were used in three different wars. It also features numerous military artifacts. Call 805-227-0440 for more information.

Heritage House Museum
The Heritage House was built in the late 1800's. The museum has an interesting collection of period clothing, photographs and kitchen items to mention a few. The Historical Society acquired the house and turn it into a visitor's center and museum. A gazebo and garden were added to provide a beautiful setting for weddings and other social events.

Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area
This off road area is among the most popular and unique of California State Parks. The 5 ½ miles of beach open for vehicle use and the sand dunes available for off highway motor vehicle recreation are attractions for visitors from throughout the United States.
Old Mission de Tolosa
Mission San Luis Obispo was founded on September 1, 1772. It was the 5th mission in the 21 mission chain in Alta California. It is the only mission with an L-shaped church. The mission site was selected as it is midway between San Diego and Monterey.
The Jack House Museum and Gardens
The Jack House is a unique piece of California's elegant and colorful past which will transport you back in time more than a century. The Jacks lived in this fine two-story Victorian house for over 90 years and much of the family's original furnishings, artwork and keepsakes are on display. The family's library collection, alone, houses over 2000 volumes including several great literary treasures, a number of first editions and many of the Harvard Classics.
