Pasadena is perhaps most famous for hosting the Tournament of Roses. Much more than a city of sports and exquisite flowers, Pasadena is home to a number of museums, theaters and art galleries. Spend a day at the Norton Simon Museum, the Pasadena Playhouse, or the Kid's Space Children Museum, and take in a bit of the Crown City's culture. A larger suburb in the Los Angles metro area, both the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in Inglewood serve Pasadena.

Travelers looking to spend a few dollars on retail therapy, can head right over to Old Pasadena, where the shopping never ends. From one-of-a-kind original boutiques like Bianca Luce and Elisa B, to more the more popular retailers of J-Crew and H&M. However, if you're looking to save a buck or two, then attending the Rose Bowl Flea Market is all you need. People travel across the state of California to shop for bargains every 2nd Sunday of the month at the largest flea market in Southern California.

Pasadena's most popular event is the Tournament of Roses. Beginning with a parade every January 1st, millions of roses, thousands of fans, and hundreds of floats flood Downtown Pasadena in celebration of a new year. Then football fans continue the party at the Rose Bowl every January 2nd during the Rose Bowl Football Game. The Make Music Pasadena Festival happens every summer and is free for all ages.
