Annadel State Park
For wildflower lovers, Annadel Park offers a great variety of flowers from early Spring until early Summer, especially on a hike around Lake Ilsanjo. The best months to see the park's wildflowers are April and May, but there are some plants in bloom as early as January and as late as September. Call 707-539-3911 for more information.

Arrmstrong Redwoods State Reserve
The 440-acre grove preserved by Colonel James Bodyston Armstrong in the 1890s has grown to 805 acres that offer visitors many relaxing options. The park has a multisensory accessible trail, as well as accessible restrooms, parking, visitor center, and picnicking. Call 707-865-2391 for more information.

Sugarloaf Ridge State Park
The park's 2,700 acres offer 21 miles of hiking trails and a horseback riding concession. Clear days bring breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Sierra Nevada from the summit of Bald Mountain. Call 707-833- 5712 for more information.

Tomales Bay State Park
