Travel To Temecula

Temecula, home to the Temecula Valley Museum, is a city in southwestern Riverside County - part of the Inland Empire. Intersected by Interstate 15, Temecula has easy access to many of the surrounding major cities - Corona to the northwest and Escondido to the south. Many visitors enjoy the short drive top Diamond Valley Lake, featuring a farmers market on Thursdays and the Diamond Valley Aquatic Center.

Families enjoy a visit to Pennypickle's Workshop - Temecula Children's Museum (closed on Mondays). Formerly called the Imagination Workshop, Pennypickle's features 7,500-square feet of hands-on inventions, experiments and gadgets. Be sure to visit Old Town Temecula, host to events like the Temecula Bluegrass Festival in late March. Another popular event is the Temecula Road Run, where classic car enthusiasts venture in and show off their hot rods.
